Phoby Posted September 14, 2018 Ultimate Doom: Nothin' out of the ordinary Doom II: The Pit, The Citadel, The Chasm TNT: Metal, Administration Center, Mount Pain Plutonia: Onslaught, Slayer, Tombstone 2 Share this post Link to post
TakenStew22 Posted September 14, 2018 I also like Metal, but it's mostly because of the music "Into The Beast's Belly" used in that level and some others. 3 Share this post Link to post
yakfak Posted September 14, 2018 big fan of titan manor outta the master levels er also I'm a fan of thousands of insane 1994 levels, enigma-style puzzle maps, weird russian levels with patchwork texturing and thousands of sniping zombies etc etc etc. i even like some of my own maps! =P 5 Share this post Link to post
Pierrot Posted September 14, 2018 Ultimate Doom: Sever the Wicked Doom 2: Refueling Base for the challenge, and Bloodfalls for the theme and the music. I also like some challenging IoS maps (like the one from Whitemare). 1 Share this post Link to post

Roofi Posted September 14, 2018 (edited) TimeOfDeath's maps. His maps are not really unpopular but often contain mandatory strafe50 , really confusing progression , unescapable pits and lots of things I forgot that make beginners flee. :p 0 Share this post Link to post
Xaser Posted September 14, 2018 Depends on what's meant by "unpopular." if I'm allowed to interpret it as "not popular", i.e. something not many folks have played, then allow me to point at my custom title. :P 4 Share this post Link to post

Into the Beast's Belly is definitely one of my favorite tracks. Metal was the map that made me really hyped when I first played TNT. 2 Share this post Link to post
Nancsi Posted September 15, 2018 Is Monster Condo unpopular? If so, it's one of my favourites in Doom II. Tenements is also somewhat unpopular among the Romero maps. I love it. 1 Share this post Link to post
BrassKnight Posted September 15, 2018 Maximum Doom- Not sure if these are unpopular but as a very young Doom mapper and player, playing the many wads it has is just fascinating. It lets me see how many Doom maps looked like during the 90s. Habitat 1 Share this post Link to post
DynamiteKaitorn Posted September 15, 2018 Ultimate DooM: Hard to say DooM 2: Was Barrels o' fun hated? if so then I take it. I love map 23 <3 TNT: Not sure how popular Mill is but it's a great map. Plutonia: Omen...? 1 Share this post Link to post

I love it. Monster Condo is my favorite Doom 2 map. Nobody seems to like it, but I'm a huge fan of the way it just keeps revealing new things lol. 2 Share this post Link to post

The whole library theme was highly original and extremely creepy. 2 Share this post Link to post
galileo31dos01 Posted September 16, 2018 Administration Center was tnt20? That one. 1 Share this post Link to post
Aquila Chrysaetos Posted September 16, 2018 Many maps with inescapable pits tend to be hated because of the pits alone. So those. Like Sunder MAP05. 1 Share this post Link to post

I love map 23 <3 I never heard anyone say they hated that map, but certainly are disappointed in it because the explosive barrels only play a part in the beginning of the map. Would have been cool if the entire map revolved around the barrels. Anyways, here's mine: Doom 2: "Monster Condo" and "The Spirit World" Final Doom: "Hunted" 2 Share this post Link to post
