How can I add friendly bots

I know you can add bot's into Doom I just don't know how I don't really want anything complex just able to shoot at enemy's and if possible they can have custom sprites

Before I can help you, I need more information. What port are you making this for (I am hoping for a port that supports DECORATE, because that is what I know)? Do you want the friendly bot to be a marine (and if so, which weapon? Or a random weapon?), or a Doom monster, or a custom monster?
