elmle Posted November 7, 2018 Another three days, they were pretty slow so I didn't actually finish another map but two are pretty close. Jimmy Posted November 7, 2018 Hey everyone, if you're interested in roaming around the layouts I've been working on since the start of this, I have a WIP version of my megawad right here. Download "Deathless" WIP (5.48MB) - Limit-removing. Tested only with Crispy Doom 5.2 so far. Should work fine in more advanced ports but wouldn't recommend Vanilla or Chocolate. - Episode 1 to 3 are functional, textured, but minimally thing-placed - there's no combat except for the boss levels, and E1M9. In these cases just IDFA 'em. - There are three secret exits, in the usual mapslots. See if you can find them! - Only a handful of music replacements and they're all stock except for the title MIDI which is one of mine. - I haven't been able to decide on the skies. Still, that seems (to me at least) ridiculously fast for a level that looks so large and is (likely) at least somewhat complex. I consider my mapping pace slow because whenever I make a room I have to make sure to fully texture, detail and add gameplay to it before moving on to the next one. The rest of the maps will be somewhat smaller in comparison, I plan on a small mappack with this being one of the latter maps. 0 Share this post Link to post

Terminus Posted November 9, 2018 Began working on the next map, or rather, the official Map01 of the pack. Not much progress but I made a small cabin. Plus, this is my first experience with 3D Floors (Thanks for helping out, @Dragonfly!) meapineapple Posted November 10, 2018 (edited) lucky map #13. it has a secret exit, meaning it's destined for the map15 slot. probably the highest difficulty of any of the maps so far. I may have gone just a little bit overboard on the archviles and hitscans here. I also played around with a concrete + wood texturing scheme I don't think I've used before. This one is an arena where you hit a switch and then try to survive long enough for the exit to become accessible, with a new wave of monsters being released every 30 or so seconds...
