Today I played through MURI; an MS-DOS inspired retro 2D platformer. It plays similarly to Duke Nukem but is far superior in every way possible. It took me about two and a half hours to get through on the highest difficulty setting. The story is inane, but the sci-fi aesthetic, controls and level design are all superb. This game is exceptional, but it's also very short and easy. I wish there was a level editor. Well worth the dollar I bought it for. I recommend checking this game out the next time you see it on sale. It's pretty sweet.
