Spongebob Squarepants Creator Stephen Hillenburg Dead at 57

Recommended Posts

Stephen Hillenburg, the creator of Spongebob Squarepants, has died at the age of 57 from ALS after nearly two decades after the show premiered. He will dearly be missed, and he created a legendary show that will last for ages, even if you think many of the newer episodes aren't too good. My condolences go to his friends and family.

Rest in peace, Stephen Hillenburg. You will be remembered and greatly missed.

Also, not only is this sad because he died, but that also means....no more spongebob! NO MORE SPONGEBOB! NOOOO!!!!! SPONGEBOB IS MY FAVOURITE SHOW AND NOW IT'S GONE JUST LIKE THE CREATOR! This is just as sad as when Stefan Karl Stefannson (Robbie Rotten) died!

Man, that’s pretty young. The first 3 seasons of Spongebob are way up there on my favourites list. Terrible loss.. RIP!

You know what I just realized? How shitty this year is

First Stefan dies, then Stan, and now Stephen.

Who's next, Mike Myers, voice of Shrek?

Spongebob was a very sweet show. Had many fond memories with it.

Thank you Stephen, and rest in peace.
