Alter Posted December 17, 2018 No mods for you pirate. Also HL2 goes regularly on sales, like the upcoming christmas sale. Man up and get the game legit. 4 Share this post Link to post
D4NUK1 Posted December 17, 2018 Also, don't work because the way hl2 reads the mod. You will need original. 0 Share this post Link to post
seed Posted December 18, 2018 (edited) I don't even think SMOD or SMOD Redux were patched to work after the SteamPipe update in the first place tbh. Anyway, like others before me told you, unlike HL1 where many mods still work with the WON version of the game, Source based mods are pretty much guaranteed to require you to own the respective games in order to play them, with the exception of those that only require one or more SDK Bases installed, but the SMODs are not one of them. The game goes regularly on sale, it's below 10 bucks at full price these days, in addition to still getting updates from time to time, there's really no excuse to pirate it. It's no surprise. As for your question, no. 0 Share this post Link to post

Alter Posted December 19, 2018 And we'll keep telling you no until you buy the game legit, you cheapskate. 5 Share this post Link to post
snapshot Posted December 19, 2018 Besides HL2, you're also gonna need Lost Coast installed (you get it for free with HL2) and HL2DM. 17 hours ago, Agent6 said: I don't even think SMOD or SMOD Redux were patched to work after the SteamPipe update in the first place tbh. The Addon-less edition of SMOD Redux v8 seems to work fine on the latest engine version. Spoiler 3 Share this post Link to post
