DOOM Slowdown (Revenant's fault)

It's the revenants . . .

 

Whatever it is about their animation / character model / AI, they cause my game framerate to drop. This is especially apparent in their weakened animation where you can glory kill them.

 

Specs:

i7 8700k 5GHZ

GTX 1080 in OC mode

 

Anybody else notice this issue?

Are you playing the game in a really high resolution or something? I have an i5-7400 @ 3 GHz and a GTX 1050 Ti and the game runs at a rock-solid 60 fps on high settings.

No slowdown issues here running at 1080p. 1050ti in one rig, RX580 in another (both systems have a Ryzen 1700X, 32GB memory). Results are about the same, Ultra settings for both.
