Is There Any Resources for Creating a Custom Status Bar?

I was wondering if there was anything out there that would make it a bit easier to create a custom status bar.

Depends on what the status bar needs to do. For something simple like the vanilla Doom one, you could use SBARINFO. For more complex things, I would suggest zScript if you are using GZDoom.

I just use slade to export the stbar from Doom 2's wad as a png, edited it in gimp (paint would work too I think) then put it in my map's wad, I'm still screwing around with editing stuff like that but it's a place to start at the least.

Actually there is! Somewhat- lemme dig up a template I found years ago on the ol' Zdoom forums..

Shouldn't be too hard to figure out what goes where! :)
