Converting a source map to doom

hello i was wondering if it was possible to convert a map made in the hammer editor and be able to open and edit it in doombuilder, if it is possible how would it be done?

Highly doubtful, since that's more in line with the Quake engine with its rooms-over-rooms and such that Doom generally doesn't support.

Conversion is virtually impossible - even advanced Doom engines make some fundamental assumptions about the map that is going to completely make it unworkable with an engine that operates in fully movable 3D space.


Recreation is far more likely, but even that won't be guaranteed to be perfect.
