Surely I'm not the only one who thinks this looks like a dick?  Even Doomguy is raising an eyebrow...

This is definitely cursed, but that's because of the fugly default brown on brown on more brown automap color scheme in GZDoom and realizing some people actually play the game like that :/

I used to play with LZDoom, but recently I've been leaning towards Crispy Doom.

 

That 35fps limiter is just perfect.  For some reason my brain thinks faster when the frame rate is limited.

 

I would like it if there were Linux binaries that I could use, but for now Wine is fine.

For reference, it would normally be
FRACBITS = 16

and FRACUNIT = 1<<FRACBITS

("<<FRACBITS" basically means "*(2^FRACBITS)", so "*(2^16)")

 

FRACBITS = 15

Even if additional frames are being interpolated, all the game logic still runs on 1/35th of a second tics in any source port (that I know of, at least)

Hehe, I was playing Final NeoDoom, spamming those tripbombs all over the place, and this is one of the three frames youtube's AI decided to capture for me. It looks like I am fighting against the scary blocky stonehead monsters and it's minions.
