What are some well designed slaughter maps that you know of?

As I played Combat Shock 2 I frequently took in the very well made levels inside the game, the best one in particular being map04. Are there any other slaughter maps that will kick my ass but also make me enjoy the level design too?

Not maps because I can't name anything in particular. That being said, look for megawads like Hell Revealed, Alien Vendetta, Scythe 1 and 2 in the final episodes, Slaughterfest 2 and most of 3, Entropy, Flotsam, Deus Vult 1 and 2, Newgothic Movement 1 and 2 (2 has some extremely punishing maps though, keep that in mind), Sunder, Sunlust, Stardate 20x6 near the end.

Definitely map20 from noye. The mapper really put a lot of work in designing thoughtful combat.

i'd highly recommend sunder and scythe 2 from map23 onward

Newgothic Movement 1 and 2 have some awesome level designs, but god damn are they frustrating. Going Down isn't really your typical slaughter but it gets pretty unforgiving at times.

Anything else by Dannebubinga or anything by Ribbiks, really. I especially love Stardate 20X6 and its sequel. Also shoutouts to Rush, which is always a fun playthrough.
