Need help with Slade3

So, i had an idea for a WAD that needed to have custom weapon sprites, i seartched on google, and i found tutorials of the old Slade versions.

Now, ive been searching for a while and i cant find a good tutorial for it. Does anyone have or know a good tutorial for it?
 Also, what program can i use for editing sprites? (need to change the glove and arm color)

Just to clarify what you are after ...

Do you want to make new sprites for weapons or do you simply want to find new weapons?

To edit textures, just use something like GIMP 2.8 (Which I use) or some other art program.

 

As for making weapons? Take a little goosey at this website :)

I need to change the weapons on Slade3 (ex: replacing the chaingun with an M4A1)

But i already solved it, although not all weapons work.
