What are the coolest things you've modelled in Doom's "3D"?

I'm still discovering it but it actually lets you do a lot of things in 3D if you plan in properly. For example, I started modelling decorations. These are so small you probably won't notice them, but I think it's cool to have a 3D coffee cup, a pen and some papers. Extremely satisfying. I am curious what are the coolest things you modelled.

I made a "Jaw Door" that kills:

You can watch it in the distance slowly open then clamp down fast in this gif.

This is the best thing ever. Fantastic. How did you make just one side of the cup darker? Different texture or does zdoom allow for changing brightness of vertical textures without changing the flats? I'm mapping in Doom 2 format so I'm quite limited.

Hmm ... I do not remember that I deliberately somehow manipulated the lighting of the textures in this place. I think this is due to the classic dynamic lighting in this room. And yes, in UDMF you can change the brightness of any surfaces, regardless of the sector brightness.

This reminds me of how Doom's first level was originally going to have you and a few other marines just finishing a poker game. It'd be cool if someone made a modern version of Hangar with the original beginning of the level using proper models for chairs and cards.
