Quick help with GZDoom

Recommended Posts

Haven't mucked around with GZDoom in many, many years, but figured I'd try out Sigil.

Two questions!

1. I reconfigured the keys and mouse in GZDoom, but for some reason I move a little bit forward when I drag the mouse forward and a little bit backwards when I drag the mouse backwards. I don't want to move at all when doing those things. I only use W and S for forward/backwards. Can't seem to find how to turn that off. Anyone have a solution?

2. How do I create a simple batch-file to run Sigil with GZDoom, with brightmaps.pk3 and lights.pk3 enabled? What's the correct syntax?

Thank you!

Hi and thanks for your help!

Batch-file is sorted now!

But, I turned off lookspring, but it didn't do anything. I'm still moving forward a tiny bit when I move the mouse forward (and backwards, the other way).

Nevermind, I found it. In the mouse settings, there is a slider for Forward/Backward speed. Default is 1.0. I set it to 0 and the problem went away!
