Are there any mods that allow you to play Chex Quest with other mods?

I know this isn't technically Doom related, but I'm not sure where else I would post this.

 

But yeah, are there any mods or patches that let you play Chex Quest with gameplay mods?

Most mods should work with chex quest, its pretty much just doom 1 reskinned

yeah but when it comes to weapons mods they wont do jack, besides brutal doom

not really. turn out they dont replace the wepaon pickups but i wouldnt say that is "not doing jack"

yeah, thats what i mean, i tryed to run trailbalzer in chex quest and i only had my pistol

Yeah that's the problem, any weapon mod I try to use fails.
