Editing Drops from Enemis


How do I make it that an already existing Doom-monster drops something different? ex. Sergeant drops shells instead of Shotgun

Using SLADE 3 by the way

What sourceport are you targeting? I'm going to assume it's ZDoom or one of it's derivatives.


You would type the following in a DECORATE lump:

ACTOR ShotgunGuyDropShells : ShotgunGuy replaces ShotgunGuy {DropItem "Shell"}

And that's it.
