Combining mods

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if it's possible to combine different elements from mods.

For example, I want to combine the bullet traces from Beautiful Doom with Smooth Doom.

Of course it's possible. But for something like this example you mentioned, you'd have to resort to SLADE, picking and choosing elements you like, and then making your own mod out of them.
