A few days ago I saw a video showing some heaven footage. I didn't notice it immediately but after a while I noticed the buildings aren't typical UAC space stations. The towers had symbols which could be seen in the Maykrs sky city screenshot. It was a bit underwhelming because the enemies looked very hellish/demonic (weak, possessed like).

I hope Heaven isn't just 100% sci fi and tech pipes.

What made Hell in Doom cool (at least in 1 and 2) is that it was a mix of things.

Traditional Hell aspects with some "outside" influence and elements.

Rocks and fire meet flesh and tech etc.

And there was a variety of level props, textures and decoration.

I hope Heaven goes for a similar route to feel like it belongs in Doom.

 

They already have the Khan Maykr being a robo angel with an exposed brain.

Like, that's a good example, as if it was Heaven's own Spider Matermind.

And there's Empyrian from 2016's MP, that could serve as the "ancient castle/fortress" portion of Heaven.

I like to imagine Heaven having their own versions of Hell's FIREBLU even.
