Map 19 is still in progress and a skip map is in place, just ignore for feedback for now. Interception II is the direct sequel to the 2013 megawad, Interception. DiscordAlpha Resource Pack RULES: Boom-compatible (played with the -complevel 9 command-line parameter set) All contributions have the potential to be edited as deemed necessary by the team (at most large cosmetic and some gameplay work can be done but the base map is usually intact). Development will continue simultaneously on Discord and Doomworld. Team members can post in this thread for any purpose related to Interception II development. THEMES: Map1-11: "The Realm of Souls" - Lost of green castle architecture. Got a void vibe going on, a place warped from reality. Also described as an alternative version of hell. Map12-20: "The Voyage Home" - Having escaped, the player is now hopping between planets and worlds trying to get back to earth. Either space or extraterrestrial planet designs Map21-30: "The Baphomet's Device" - Tech and rural city influenced with a mountainous backdrop. The player is trekking through mountainous earth to stop Baphomet's device from opening a gateway. Bases, decaying infrastructure and other buildings fit here. Although it shouldn't take me more than 2 hours to convert it. I can also do a few tweaks, I'll send you the candidate maps. DFF Posted October 6, 2019 Hey everyone, just a heads up that the latest version of the alpha is out. Main changes: Added maps 02,20,25 Added some textures and edited dehacked for the boss BFG consumes 50 cells per shot, wanted the BFG present but more of a conservatuve use item/make the plasma gun a bit more preferable at times. keep mapping and feel free to comment and playtest maps, helps in the long run.Alpha link 1 Share this post Link to post
