I had gone to start making a wad, I went to test it and it come up as " unable to start the test program, win32 exception: the operation was canceled by the user ".  Any Idea how to fix this????

I'm no DB developer though I know the program should work as expected.

That said, I do have a few questions:

Which version of Doom Builder are you using? DB1, DB2, GZDB, X?

This tells me that the program you're using to "test" is at fault however, what program, what Doom port?

Did you actually cancel the operation?

Do you have a keyboard key that is sticking due to a soda pop mishap? :P

Really need a little info here..

What program do you have configured to test with?  Does that program run OK if you just double-click on it from windows explorer?

im testing it on the latest GZdoom port, something happened between now, and last week ...

What happens when you delete GZBuilder.cfg and let the editor generate a new cfg file?

(rename the old one first, just in case)

You have to set up the Game Configuration (F6) again.

And while you are there inspect GZBuilder.log for some insight.
