Start date-when people can go full force into mapping March 14th 2020 (3-14-2020) - September 14th 2020 (9-14-2020) October 31st 2020 (10-31-2020) This wad is shooting kinda for both Doom 3 in look and atmosphere and Doom 64 with the enemies and weapons. Episodic hub system - maps will be bundled into a episode based off of one of the three themes and all three episodes can be started from the hub in any order. Rules. Map must use the provided resource (the stunning OTEX v1.1 texture set and @Immorpher's Morph64 pack)Resource link :https://www.dropbox.com/s/ae3e6c6hcv097kl/DT_IO64.pk3?dl=1 Maps must use Doom 2 iwad and be in UDMF format. Mappers may claim more than one slot Themes- All maps must follow these themes, maps that heavily deviate from these may be considered on a case by case basis, but it's a big maybe. The themes... Techbase (a facility with the purpose of advanced scientific or military research, sterile hallways and abandoned complexes) Hellbase (A facility once dedicated to secretive research project, now in ruin, overrun by nightmarish hell spawn, these walls once held the future, now the hold the fetid flesh of the fallen.) Helltech (Hell is no longer just ancient marble palaces of fire and damnation, the demons have learned to adapt the technology of man to suit their needs, and have since found ways to improve it.) wolfmcbeard Posted September 30, 2019 (edited) Maps 1 and 2 are pretty much finished and just need some testing. They have custom tracks made by me though I still don't have a title or inter. track. wolfmcbeard Posted March 3, 2020 Alrighty, I've made the last update to this (at least for the time being.) and the project is starting to wake up. Some very nice looking maps are already in the works. If anyone is interested, just tag me, and I'll add you to the list. DoomKrakken Posted April 11, 2020 These all have a very Doom 64 vibe to 'em. Beautiful, industrial, colorful, yet dark. Feels almost like a Doom 64 redux just by looking at it, 'cuz it seems to use the same atmospheric and color concepts behind Doom 64's design, yet executes it better. :D If y'all need playtesters, I'd love to test these maps for you guys! 3 Share this post Link to post

Immorpher Posted May 2, 2020 Deadtech resource pack and naming update! The pack you have been using has been named to DT_IO64_0.50.pk3 and it has been updated to DT_IO64_0.64.pk3! This new version has a major sound overhaul and an incomplete version of the rotting inquisitor (the credits file needs to be updated as I didn't use nearly as many different sources now). It isn't version 1.0 yet since it doesn't have working nades and rotting inquisitor.
