Halloween themed wads?

Recommended Posts

I was curious as to whether there are any (good) wads out there that have a Halloween theme to them for my friends and I to play in October. Doom is already general  "horror" based so I was trying to find something with like pumpkins and witches and skeletons and like, holiday themed stuff instead ya know?

Maybe Tangerine Nightmare? I don't think there's pumpkins and witches and stuff but there's lots of orange and black.

While these WADS aren't necessarily based around the international Spooky holiday of Hallowe'en, they are some really good and fascinating horror/spooky themed WADS with fun gameplay and creepy crawly level design perfect that will surely send chills down your spine this terrifying season of horror (or at least its the mods I myself have played so far during Spooktober) :

Hope you and your friends can have a lot of fun with these WADS and a very Happy Halloween!

Pirate Doom while not specifically halloween themed is full of spoopy stuff :D and it's high quality too ;)

@SOSU That seems like a good choice and is understandable, but to me Pirate Doom is something that in my opinion I would rather play during the Summer instead due to its pirate, Caribbean, sea sailing, swashbuckling, island hopping, Grog drinking, and Monkey Island themes.

@El Franko You could also play the Spooky maps in October and the rest in summer to get the best of both worlds :D
(Or play it in september since it's between summer and october but that's weird)

Golden Souls 2 also has some gothic styled levels that fit well with the period imo, namely the tedious but otherwise still very atmospheric mansions.
