doom and XP

runs very slow and chopper on XP pro, have opengl.

why?
is there a version for XP?
need for playing on a lan with diff OSes.

Doom95 is broken in XP too. Yes, use a newer Doom engine. you can find links to them here at Doomland..er world.

i couldn't get it to work. the sound was f00ked and the framerate really bad. I only tried once and then said 'fuck it, zdoom smokes this bitch anyway' Guess what i did next? installed zdoom.
