It kept trying to launch with an older version of GZdoom. Just deleted the older version off my PC and it worked. I was too interested in the error message to realize what version of GZdoom was actually launching. lol

 

The mod's a lot of fun, certain enemy HP's keep throwing me off. I keep psyching myself out thinking they're gonna go down sooner or later than I expect. The Plasma gun replacement seems a little strong, and the chaingun replacement a little weak but that's a personal gripe. Good stuff Scumhead. A fun way to kill an afternoon.

our PR and Marketing guys told me to write that SHRINE now works in k8vavoom, with bosses and the finale text. ;-) i didn't really tested everything, but it seems to work. (the finale is not quite right, but at least the player can read it)

 

also, there is decorate bug i forgot to report: at line 1229, with `A_CustomMeleeAttack()`: you forgot one argument.

it is:

A_CustomMeleeAttack(random(3, 9) * 5, "", "Melee", true)

but it should be:

A_CustomMeleeAttack(random(3, 9) * 5, "", "", "Melee", true)

i.e. you forgot to put "miss sound" there.
