DooMBoy Posted November 5, 2002 I heard Enjay say once that all you have to do to align textures is to selct the linedefs or linedefs and hit y or x to align them. I've tried this and it doesn't seem to work. Little help please? Aligning textures is a real basrad. 0 Share this post Link to post
Fredrik Posted November 5, 2002 Select the linedefs and press Y or X. It does work. You must be blind. 0 Share this post Link to post
Kid Airbag Posted November 5, 2002 It's probably cause you're working in x10. 0 Share this post Link to post
magikal Posted November 5, 2002 All the linedefs must face the same way and be joined, of course. Open the misc menu and select either align x or y offsets and choose your option. So easy. 0 Share this post Link to post

Enjay Posted November 5, 2002 Yup, as stated by others, for X aligning the lines must all face the same direction and be connected, then just press X and the texture on them will flow beautifully from one line to the next, even if you are using multiples of 10. Pressing X under these circumstances aligns textures on the front side of linedefs, and checks thet the same texture is on each line. For more options (eg to set initial offsets, align second sides or ignore different textures etc, use the misc menu). For y alignment the lines do not have to be connected. 0 Share this post Link to post
