Doom 64 EX Jittery mouse turning

Okay so i fixed the issue where it's locked in place and you can barely move, but for some reason a bit of an after effect remains where turning is kinda jittery

 

as a player who has the mouse at very high sensitivity where i can easily snap to each enemy on the old doom games (and other old fps games) , this kinda hurts me in the long run because i nee

 

is there any way to fix this issue as well?

Nope, not really.

 

This is mainly caused by the outdated SDL libraries shipped with the last version of EX, which cause some input issues on some configurations. You're better of getting the official remaster from here anyway, it's currently sold along with Doom Eternal but will probably ship separately post-launch for 5$ - if you're not running a potato: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1148590/DOOM_64/

oh fun, now my joycons are drifting, talk about bad luck.
