have to say i'm excited to see this project. doom's fast gameplay and quake's gritty art, that's pretty much a fusion of what i liked most in 30 years or so of gaming.

In other news: I've finished the basic layout of Map12. I'm going to add a bunch of details, monsters, items, and work out any bugs I can find.
After that, I'll provide y'all with a download link so you can test it for yourself.

What is the Name of the textures for the Skies? They aren't showing up when i try to texture a ceiling, only F_SKY Texture from Doom shows up

Try loading the resource pack last (after the iwad); because it's still F_SKY.

Map 60-70% done. 

 

Note: I did not think necessary to add any special effect to the doors, any problem about this?

Might look into this to see if it's a good choice for a weapon replacement for the mega-wad. 

 

(Just tested)

Unfortunately it is not compatable with PrBoom+ (which is the targeted port we are using)

I find the minigun fine enough, besides, we got a lot of Quake conversion to Doom before (i.e Quake Stuff Ultra)
