Slayer Key does not spawn in the Mars Core Mission

I have found all the secrets but when I break the vent that the Slayer Key should be there, it's not. This is my first playthrough and I don't get why.

 

Any idea? Restarted a checkpoint but no result

Did you replay a previous mission with cheats? There's a bug where if you continue on with the main campaign afterwards it acts as if cheats are still enabled.

 

I got caught out by this at ARC Complex. I'd done a completionist run with infinite ammo on the level before. In the end I had to finish ARC complex, go to the choose mission menu, toggle all cheats off and then play ARC Complex a second time to get the gate.

Yep, seemingly that was the case. Disabled the cheats on mission replay and found the key.
