Chopkinsca Posted November 16, 2002 has only one played this level: http://www.sbsoftware.com/files/xtheateriii.zip ? it requires zdoom beta and it seems to me like an insane level. People have too much time on their hands.. 0 Share this post Link to post

Ichor Posted November 16, 2002 There's just one tiny thing wrong with it so far. I can't even get in the first building! So I gave up on it... 0 Share this post Link to post

Ichor Posted November 16, 2002 If I play a map where I have to use IDCLIP or some other cheat code in order to progress any further, then it's not worth playing. 0 Share this post Link to post
Grazza Posted November 16, 2002 According to the text file, there is some (presumably soft) pr0n in this map. 0 Share this post Link to post
Ultraviolet Posted November 16, 2002 *sigh* Dumbshits. It's (or originally was) a ZDoom hi-res textures (and a few other features Jack was interested in) test map Jack's been working on a while. It's not meant as some great attempt at gameplay. 0 Share this post Link to post

Ultraviolet Posted November 16, 2002 Stuff to do to kill time. I WAS around when Jack V started the XTHEATER stuff. Its sole purpose in the beginning was JUST a ZDoom tech demo. I THINK I WANT TO TYPE IN ALL CAPS NOW. KTHX. Sorry about the "dumbshits" thing. I keep forgetting other people actually exist... 0 Share this post Link to post

Jive Posted November 19, 2002 There are several versions, depending on which port you're using to play it... I used the Legacy version, and all was fine! It seems that the architecture is more a demonstration than anything else! Perhaps have you a problem because you don't use the option "-mb32" or something like that with your port? The fact that this map is full of highres textures must be too much for little configurations... 0 Share this post Link to post
