Like think of it. the pistil is now the normal pea shooter, the shotgun the charge beam. This could also be done with mega man weapons. I don't know, i just thought it was cool.

Metroid Dreadnought? It's mainly based on Metroid Prime but there're tons of other elements taken across good Metroid games.
