Koko Ricky Posted April 16, 2020 I've started recording my drum practice/solo sessions recently, and it's been a lot of fun. I've been developing a technique based around improvised storytelling that is translated into rhythmic ideas. When I drum can go into a mild trance and begin to see/feel a story unfold, with characters, dialogue and settings emerging instantly. This way I can come up with something of a "percussive narrative" and make the solo sound more cohesive. 3 Share this post Link to post

BassSlapper89 Posted April 17, 2020 Killer drumming bro, this makes me want to jam. This lockdown is annoying the crap out of me... Haven't jammed with my band for a month... and we were gonna hit the studio to record our 1st full length album 1 Share this post Link to post
