How to make doors with transparent graphics on gzdoom builder?

Question

im using the MIDSPACE texture and i want to put it on a door so that you can see through it. is there a way i can do this?

there is a transparency option, which is on by default but it still doesnt work

Well, i am not the best for answering this question, i use Doom Builder 2, not GZDoom Builder, sry

i tried using the transfer height method he mentioned but it still doesnt work. could it be because the door is above a 3d floor?

If you're targeting UDMF, the Alpha setting will set mid textures to transparent. Can you provide more info on what source port and map format you're targeting?

UDMF GZDoom Builder. i think i figured it out though. the sector im making the door on has 2 tags because its on top of a 3d floor. i got rid of the 3d floor tag and left the transfer height tag and it works now. only problem now is that it doesnt have a floor

For example, 1 polydoor on top of another with a 3D floor in between:
