Born in a Casket.WAD

 

UPDATE

 

REBALANCED

 

*Extra ammo and pistol acquired earlier*

 

*Missing textures and sequence breaks fixed/added*

 

*rebalanced weapons thanks to the awesome !~MENGO~! (one of the guys who worked on SHRINE II)

 

*Pistol and MP40 have re-balanced fire rates, clip size and damage output, both takes different ammo types now

The first map in what will be a 5 map mini-episode I am working on.

 

A dark horror-atmospheric styled WAD inspired by Blood HeXen(aesthetically no HUB stuff going on) SIGIL and DooM 3.

 

*Resource management and keeping out for secrets are an absolute must on UV difficulty.

 

There is reloading, and some emphasis on melee combat.

 

The track is "Technomagick Sacrament" by the incredible HeXenkraft.

*No jumping

 

*Mouselook recommended but not necessary.

 

*TRUECOLOR SOFTWARE RENDER RECOMMENDED FOR GZDooM

 

It is my preferred way of playing and I built the map with Software render in mind.

IT has been tested with the Latest version of GZDoom and runs just fine.

Nevermind I am dumb, I missed the "GZDOOM" VS. "ZDOOM" part. Got it loading fine.

Incidentally, I never use GZDOOM, I gotta play with my configs apparently because it looks super soft/blurry instead of crisp (lime your screenshots).
