Fun & Gun (15 speedmaps)

This was supposed to be a full 32 map megawad made for NaNoWadMo in 2018, but my maps ended up bigger than expected, so I only managed to make 15 maps.

I was not happy with the balance, so I've been putting this off, until I finally decided to add more HP and ammo, and here I am now.

Each map took me one or two days to make.

 

Boom format, and a lot of Dehacked changes.

                          stands, this has been an exhausting project, I
                          spent dozens of hours just making maps on a daily
                          basis, I grew sick of mapping like this again, so I

                          relaxed challenge for the next NaNoWADMo.

Description             : 15 maps made for the NaNoWADMo challenge in 2018
                          where people make as many maps as they can within
                          November.
                          Tight maps, with lots of detail, action and varying
                          sizes, a couple of them are quite big.
                          There's no set theme, it's a journey through
                          various landmarks, such as offices, trenches,
                          dungeons, a forest, homes, and even a snowy prison.

Dehacked changes :

Doomguy : Slightly less pain chance
Starts with 30 bullets and 75 HP

Weapons in General : Most have raising and lowering animations
Fist : Slightly faster
Chainsaw : Silent while idle
Pistol : Shoots two bullets in one shot
Shotgun : Slightly faster reload
SSG : Unchanged badassness
Chaingun : Faster fire
Rocket Launcher and BFG: Faster projectiles, subtly lights up to warn you upon rising it
Plasma Gun : Faster projectiles

Zombieman and Shotgunner : Slight delay upon firing (Now they act as mini arch-viles)
Chaingunner : Shoots in short bursts to prevent the screen getting solid red, slightly less HP
Imp : Slightly less HP
Demon and spectre : Way less HP, can now be gibbed and run faster
Lost soul : Half the HP and can phase through things
Hell knight : Slightly less HP
Baron of hell : less HP, quickly shoots a line of manc balls
Arachnotron : Shots have a bit more delay

Some really well designed levels. I love the mountainous design for MAP06 and the rusty base of MAP02.

Difficulty here is surprisingly easy. Sure I had some moments giving me a problem (most notably the start of MAP06). There's a LOT of ammo here and health is in decent supply as well. Armour is a little low but since your guns are beefed up significantly, this is a fair trade off.
