Taw Tu'lki Posted May 21, 2020 Is here anybody who always visit a Deviantart? What are you thinking about new design? I think it's awful. Very awful. Some functions are deleted. 0 Share this post Link to post
kalaeth Posted May 21, 2020 well, it doesn't like me. or the browser I use. won't keep me logged in Oo And it took me way too long to find my profile. It's prettier though. (hadn't been there in ages, stopped using it some years ago) 0 Share this post Link to post

Walter confetti Posted May 24, 2020 The new way for categorizing the favorites inside the various folders in my page and deleting the already seen pics are a bit clunky (and they didn't changed this last thing from the beta version... good!) but overall is not the total disaster i was expecting hearing the multitude of people bitching around because is not anymore they're beautiful deviantart they are knew... if that site goes full force been screwed up for some reason, i'll leave it and goodbye. 1 Share this post Link to post
Doom_Dude Posted May 25, 2020 I haven't been on there in ages and looking at it now, it seems a bit clunky.. 0 Share this post Link to post
doomsucksass Posted May 26, 2020 Sucks ass, but i'll probably get used to it at some point like the new design of DW that came around...2016 i think 0 Share this post Link to post
Tetzlaff Posted June 7, 2020 I am confused by that new design. Have they completely flattened the search function? What I liked on Deviantart was to search new additions from time to time. For example, "strogg". First you got the most popular Strogg pictures, but then you could click on "Newest" and have a look at the recent additions. Where is that function now? Where can I find my latest Strogg stuff now? 1 Share this post Link to post
Graf Zahl Posted June 7, 2020 It's truly amazing how those web developer hacks manage to use new technology always to make things worse. I cannot think of a single website redesign that actually made things better - it always gets more clunky and less pleasant to use. 4 Share this post Link to post

Yeah, it's completely stripped down. You used to be able to search by the categories that were also available when adding art to the site. So if you wanted to search traditional / drawings you could. 0 Share this post Link to post
Impie Posted June 8, 2020 If you're referring to all the inflation fetishism, that's always been there. 0 Share this post Link to post
Biodegradable Posted June 8, 2020 (edited) Man, I haven't logged into DeviantART since 2005. You're telling me they only updated it now? Wow. It certainly looks more strealined, but also barren and annoying to navigate as things look hidden or missing entirely. I flunked Web Design in university, so take my opinion with a dump-truck full of salt, but I honestly hate how every long-lasting website seems to follow the same Minimalist design philosophy. They're looking more and more the same with each passing few years. I remember when websites used to be a lot more visually unique back in the day. I like how Newgrounds has been around for 20 years and rather than completely ditch their website layout, they just tweaked everything to make it look more modern without losing the charm of its original design. 1 Share this post Link to post
