How Do I Make A Level Hub?

Look into making a MAPINFO first, so that the maps are set up in a way that the hub is properly set up.

Next, map for Hexen format or UDMF and use action #74 to warp the player to another map. The player start "arg0" refers to the first "argument" of the non-action a player start has. This way, you can make two warps to the same map lead to different parts of the same map. That is, assuming you want a Hexen-style hub.

If you want regular level progression with a hub map in-between, I'm less sure on the exact implementation. Making use of ACS, particularly world variables will most likely be helpful. Perhaps you should take a look at the implementation of the mods you want it to be like?

For hub levels in DOOM pwads you need to use the Hexen format and ZDoom as the engine, for example

Did you read the linked text?

Some work was done to support UDMF format maps, but it was not finished and hence disabled in this release.

Also read http://eureka-editor.sourceforge.net/?n=Main.Changes127

- beginning of support for UDMF maps (not usable yet...)

If you need to know about mapping formats, this is the spot to get answers.

[edit]

Construct the map with Eureka.

Then switch to Slade3 to set up the MAPINFO lump.
