Add monster to my wad

Question

I recently downloaded 2 monsters in realm667 and i want to use them but, when im going to add them like a resource in my map with doom builder, nothing appears. Its a problem with the download? Or only work with slade?

That always happens when assumptions are made without having read the relevant documents. :)

 

For DECORATE monsters to be inserted in an editor, which supports the appropriate mapping format, one has to give said monster a unique ID, called DoomED number.

Insert the DECORATE actor, monster, weapon, decoration, etc. into your pwad with Slade3.

Then open the DECORATE lump and give the actor a DoomED number

for example (here a weapon 17002):

Then the editor (Slade3, UDB, EUREKA, etc) knows about the actor and you can insert it,

for example in UDB:

You have to give the Actors (Monsters, Decorations, Weapons) a number in DECORATE. For example: Actor Shotgun : Weapon 2001. And you should be done.
