RERRK is nice too.

Batman still holds up pretty well, IMO. Action Doom 2 is impressive, though the gameplay is a bit underwhelming. Adventures of Square is great, don't let the cutesy/MS-Painty graphics fool you into overlooking it. Forestale and Hedon are quite cool but they're commercial games in their own right. Mega Man 8-bit Deathmatch is great if you're into multiplayer and retro consoles.Return of the Triad is better than its source material or its reboot.

Total Chaos is pretty damn impressive.

Pirate Doom - not a masterpiece but it has a lot of funny or atmospheric moments. I recommend it

Jazz Jackrabbit Doom - Cartoony game, looks original enough to be worth a try

Adventures Of Square - (as above)

Quake Champions Doom - pretty well made

Bloom - promising Doom / Blood crossover. no idea if they're still developing it

 

It's a good question because there's so many I couldn't check out most of them. But mostly I don't like total conversions because they take out what makes Doom good and just become generic old shooters.

The Alien Breed 3D Remake is very enjoyable. Never played the original but apparently it's quite faithful while also making a few minor changes to make some sections feel fairer.

Goldeneye Doom TC

Rather strange, and don't know if it can be completed.

But really fun to play and with ton of ideas here and there.
