Is it me or do map01 of doom 2 and map01 of tnt seem a bit similar

I think that in map01 of tnt some parts seem like parts from doom 2 map01 what do you think

Definitely. I think there are some elements of E1M1 in there, too, like that octagonal room overlooking the outdoor area you went to in your comparison video.

MAP03 of MM1 is also pretty similar in some parts. Tom Mustaine really liked Entryway.

There's definitely similarities. Like how map 01 from both Doom 2 and TNT have a secret that leads to an outdoor area with a shotgun guarded by a group of imps; or how they have a small exit room with an imp waiting for you (though TNT takes it a step further by having it be a lift that lowers you into a room with both shotgunners and chaingunners.)
