The SSG from the BTSX set of Final Doomer is very nice.  I believe it is ripped from one of the Marathon games.

Iirc he's usually pretty fine with people using his old sprites especially demon eclipse related stuff

The Doom2 beta had that early SSG that was just a minorly edited single barrel, that might be of some use?

Really glad they didn't stick with that version. It looks like someone glued two sausage rolls to a stick and spray-painted 'em black. Very derpy-lookin'.

lol, I can’t see it as anything but the SG with the world’s laziest black line drawn down the middle.. In terms of actually decent looking ones, I know there’s the Brutal Doom 64 one, and I’m sure I’ve seen someone edit Doomguy hands onto the white SSG from Blood as well.
