Meant one for a Mod or something similar , but yeah the one ID did , or Bobby that is , is pretty good.

Not sure if this answers your question but Andrew Hulshult made a remake of the original Doom soundtrack called IDKFA back in 2016. He's currently working on the soundtrack for Doom Eternal's DLC, The Ancient Gods.

Yeah i've heard , hes done a lot of good work , Dusk for example , i was just asking if there were any composers that were working on a Doom WAD/Doom Mod , i hope i wrote it more clear now.

Well I mean, Brutal Doom has an addon which lets you use the IDKFA soundtrack in game, so he technically has worked on a Doom wad.

Yes , I know that too , but my subject was more of if there are any composers that are doing soundtrack for a wad during this time , since I've heard there are some that do that in this community.

Thanks , im a musician myself so I was looking to get into the community so i wanted to see first if composing here is an active thing , thanks again for the info.

Well they are making tribute music that can replace the original music of Hexen's Deathkings.
If you know how to work with midi, surely they will accept what you submit for the project.

Hey if you want to make some midis for a project, I was thinking of asking around for my own vanilla project in the next couple of weeks or so :o I'm not sure if you commission or anything of the sort but if you're interested...

I can't remember the last time my to-do list for Doom music was empty. It's not just active, it's thriving I'd say!

I'm making soundtracks all the time, but I suck at it and I don't know what I'm doing. I wish I knew what people did to make midis, like what software.

I use Mixcraft 8 Home Studio from Steam , its easy to learn and use and has a lot of fun features you can mess around with , as for midi programs anvil studio is good but i dont use it , i recommend that you create a track in your audio program and then edit the sound so it sounds midi-like , if you dont know sound design or mixing its no problem just play around with the plugins and see what you get.

There are some free alternatives too , you can use midi.city to play on and record it in audacity , there are also some free synth websites such as https://synth.playtronica.com/.
