ni1chigo2115 Posted September 6, 2020 (edited) Only one pwad can be loaded at a time d4v comes with a lot of deh file options, but you'll need to manually integrate them in order to replace them with custom weapons. D4V.WAD works, but when I used DTWID and D2TWID, the map names did not change, and I could not get the Dopefish to work. Gez Posted September 6, 2020 DEHACKED support only extends as far as needed to support the officially released official add-ons of officiality. For map names, you're supposed to use DMAPINFO, so changing them through DEHACKED might not be implemented at all. Same for text screens. 0 Share this post Link to post
sponge Posted September 6, 2020 We definitely did setup string replacements for stuff that isn't used in our port directly like lump names, so minimap titles specifically I believe do work. The issue there may be we don't support BEX string replacements. We do support strings that are longer than the original, however. 0 Share this post Link to post
Uni Posted September 6, 2020 Just wanted to quickly drop by and say a big "THANK YOU" to Bethesda, Id and the community members for doing this. I think it's absolutely awesome to have an official port to replace(or supplement) the Dosbox emulator option on Steam, sort of click-and-play real easy setup.
