What the difference between PG-RAW.wad and PG-RAW-X.wad ?

PGDEMO16-19 have only demos in them, but PG-RAW-X and PG-RAW looks like the same wad. So what the difference between them?

I have wondered the same as you until I chose to ignore the extra "X" one. Honestly no idea.

 

Upon inspection of both files in Slade, I came across this little difference:

 

 

 

Running any of the two on dosbox and exiting still shows the endoom screen, so, yeah no idea what's the deal.

PG-RAW-X.WAD seems to have one extra graphics lump (F_END), otherwise they're virtually identical apart from the ENDOOM conversion @galileo31dos01 mentioned.
