How to create doors that open automatically once a certain or specific item is collected (Classic Doom Item Trap)

Question

Hi There, I am currently making a bunch of maps in Doom Builder 2 and I was thinking, how do you create those so called item-traps (for example, I collect a keycard, it opens a door full of monsters). So, How do I create doors that open automatically once a specific item is collected!

 

Any response or advice is appreciated and accepted :)

Just place lines with 109 action next to the key place, and... by trial-error method you can make the place where the line is crossed and the key is grabbed to be the same place. So both things will happen: you pick up a key, and the door is opened.

 

Maybe that helps.
