Is this cool or what?

Recommended Posts

yeah, I thought it was the actual game, and thought "what is so special about this?".
upon closer look, it is the work of someone who likes games /computers... :(

erm...uhmm...well in a way it's pretty cool, but I wouldn't waste my time building something like that. I haven't built a diorama since junior high school.

Yeah, it says in teh thread that Grazza provided. Geeze, for a mod, you sure dont lurk much ;P

Penguin said in the thread Grazza just showed:

it originated from the Simpsons "it's an auto-dressing deelee", "it's an electronic organizer deelee"

actully, I didnt get it from there, never seen that episode actually. and besides I say Dee-Lee, not Dealie. Theres a big difference.

that monitor mod is quite cool.. if your time is so worthless that you are going 2 spend time on deassembling a monitor risking being shocked by that big thing inside etc.. bleh.. but i like the result..

I once worked as an A/V home theater specialist (which led to my old job as a movie theater manager), and I've been shocked a few times. The worst being a 19 inch monitor I had to adjust internal settings for while the screen was active. My pinky slipped and touched a +1000 v hot-board on the yoke and it blew my hand away from the set. The tip of my pinky was burned, but it healed up fine.

Thankfully, most sets now use a secret remote code for adjusting internal settings. I use it all the time on my Sony TV. I even used it to set the TV borders to perfectly match my PS2's output display.
