Matias Posted October 26, 2020 Just play Gzdoom or something and you get a "remastered" version. And i'm sure there are maps/mapsets that do better job of remaking doom levels from ground up than what you would get if you paid for it. There is plenty of games that really can benefit of remaster or complete remake, Doom is not one of them. If it was remake in the style of Doom(2016) or eternal, well lets just say there hasn't been any good id franchise games in like a decade at this point 0 Share this post Link to post
TheMagicMushroomMan Posted October 27, 2020 Honestly, I'd rather just see the original Doom games continued and expanded, like Sigil did for Ultimate Doom. I still hope Romero is making a sequel to Sigil in Doom 2, or something similar. 2 Share this post Link to post
Murdoch Posted October 28, 2020 Definitely not. The community has already effectively done it. 0 Share this post Link to post
D4NUK1 Posted October 28, 2020 My take it's not. That's just limits the dev intentions. We are 20 years of Doom, if anything, other Devs should focus more or non linear slower gameplay (Because, rigth now, Doom Vainilla speed it's slow in comparation of Doom Eternal or Dusk, tbh) 0 Share this post Link to post
