Capcom's side-scrolling beat-em-ups would have some pretty tasty-looking health pickups - games like Final Fight, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, The Punisher and Aliens vs. Predator would have you breaking open wooden crates and oil barrels to reveal giant roast turkeys and pizzas IIRC.

And of course, who can forget the legendary Golden Axe 'bonus levels' where you would literally kick the shit out of midgets for bottles of wine?  Classic
