PeterMoro Posted October 31, 2020 90 years is an achievement. Most non Asians don't make it to their 90's. Loved Highlander. It was just having it's 30th anniversary. RIP. 3 Share this post Link to post
Biodegradable Posted October 31, 2020 I grew up watching a great deal of his movies, especially all his James Bond films with my old man as a kid. An absolute legend of the screen with almost 70 films to his name. He will be missed. 3 Share this post Link to post

Jello Posted October 31, 2020 (edited) He's gone to that great floating stone head in the sky. He will be missed. But really, he was a fantastic actor, he could drag even the worst film up to being acceptable. Well, at least the scenes he was in. And he always seemed like a class act. Just a few years ago I was wondering why I hadn't seen him in anything recently, and I realized how old he was getting, and how his health was failing. He'll be missed, but he left us with a lot of memories, and he had a really damn good run. Getting to 90 is amazing; my grandfather passed last year just a day shy of his 90th. But he was in pain, and had been for a few years, and he was able to pass with loved ones at his side. I think Sean was probably in the same boat. Nobody wants to go, even after dealing with failing health. But at the very least he got to go surrounded by loved ones, knowing that he left behind a great legacy. I'm sure he's shagging Alex Trebek's mother right now. *sniffle* 3 Share this post Link to post

ChopBlock223 Posted November 1, 2020 He really was great, no One-Hit-Wonder either, he did fantastic films after he was done doing 007, and even as he was advancing into old age. Hope he'll get to catch up with Cristopher Lee. 1 Share this post Link to post

Gokuma Posted November 6, 2020 Sean Connery was such a badass that to prepare for the voice role in that last Scottish CGI movie, he took skateboarding lessons in his 80's! Can't find where I read that but here's a good page: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000125/bio?ref_=nm_ql_1 1 Share this post Link to post
