Does this midi sound good?

So I have this Earthbound midi from vgmusic.com  and I want to know if it fits in a techbase level. I am very unsure if it does. It has the kind of techbase-y feel but still I wonder if it fits.

The midi isn't very great itself, but the "Kraken Of The Sea" theme from EarthBound does have a techbase feel. So I suggest finding a better midi of the same track.

Im currently editing it to try changing the instruments to see if I can get it to sound a little better. If I cant, Ill scour the internet for another midi.

Ehh... I wouldn't use it but it's up to you. It has more of a laid back feel than I'd like.

I just got an ogg, and it was pretty easy to find, I got it off of a wiki.

I might be a bit late to reply, but Stardate 20X6 used a pretty good MIDI rendition of the Earthbound Kraken theme:
MAP05 Kraken Theme (from EarthBound).zip

I'm really not sure if Ribbiks is the guy to take inspiration from when it comes to the music used in maps, but this one doesn't get that annoying, if you use it in a shorter level.
