HacX 1.2 in 20:12 [TAS]

Recommended Posts

Long story short. I've explained everything in the text file in the archive below, so there's no need to copy-paste all that boring stuff.

I am very happy with this TAS despite all the fails. About 70% of input was made in XDRE, so the quality isn't that bad.

This is a major improvement over the old TAS by Eugene Bondarchenko (I guess, @bond) and Alexander Sushkov from 2002 (hacx3215.lmp).

Special thanks to everyone who paid attention to my WIPs.

- @PartyCrasher - for his interest to my work back in March.

- @JCD - for his attempt to help me with a diagonal zero press on Map 17. I didn't expect somebody would give it a try.

- @4shockblast - who proved that there's still much to learn.

@Xaser, @Gez, @Nostromed : I know it might be a little late to ask about anything, but will there ever be HacX 2.0 or at least HacX 1.3 ?

Bond briefly expressed his feelings on my TAS via email, so I'm twice as happy.

Also added chapters to the video. Thank you all again!

good to see i'm not the only one fascinated by this weird game. as someone who's done a few demos of it, i know it can be a miserable experience to actually play, but it's got this unique, extremely 90s visual design to it that always keeps me coming back. great work on this TAS.
